As the title says really has anyone fitted A4 coilovers onto the Exeo or does anyone know if they have the same mountings and holes in the same places.

I may be wrong, but I seem to recall that though the Exeo body is an A4-B7, the drivetrain was more like the A4-B8 ?
That said, the RS4 rear anti-roll bar from the B7 is a straight swap into the Exeo and a mod myself and several others here have done.

they look exactly the same to me might take the chance and get an A4 set up as there cheaper than the Exeo.

thanks for the link

I work in a motor factors and an seat exeo springs and shockers are exactly the same part numbers under sacs as a a4

When you go to get the wheels aligned, get it set up as an Exeo and not as an A4 B7.

I made the mistake of setting mine up as a B7 with sports suspension (the Exeo wasn't on this machine despite is being sold as "up to date") and it burned out the outer edges of the tyres.

Just to echo Tom - I recall from watching reviews on the Exeo that SEAT changed some of the geometry settings to make the car more eager to turn in over the A4.

If you buy bilstein B6 kit with Eibach springs, even if you take the version for the ST or avant I find the ass of the car too low. (its and sT) I added 15mm spacers between te springs and then its just about perfect.

after buying some coilover which where FK AK Steet coilovers for an Audi A4 B7 none quattro i can confim they fit onto the exeo with out modification.

Looks great! I have same car and plan to lower soon. What's the ride quality like I.e will the Mrs complain? Lol

No I'm not lowered but I have the Sport Tech which has lower springs compared to the SE.

I got mine aligned as an Exeo last week and it drives better, so it confirms my suspicions that the A4 B7 settings aren't right for our cars.

Yours looks good lowered, mine scrapes speedhumps as it is. A dead badger did some hefty damage to my undertray, I recommend removing yours as I'm sure they're not cheap to replace.

I've just fitted H&R monotube coilovers to my car. I ordered the exeo coilovers but the have a label on for the A4. Everything matched up as it should.

I think the ride is fine on them. They budget coilovers though. It's a little more bouncy but not crashy and still comfortable. It corners a lot flatter I feel a lot less role. It does scrap over some speed bumps so I have to go over at an angle but not that slowly. Over all I'm impressed and I think it gives the car a better stance and meaner look.

Are the Eibach springs the same for the Seat Exeo as they are for the A4 B7?

I'm gunna say yes. My old coils that came off have Audi logos on them. I think there straight off the b7.
