ABS fuse blowing!

Hi,

Today I was just driving along when after hitting a rather large pothole at 30-40 mph numerous lights have come on and beeping noises where made. At the moment I've got ABS, PAS, flashing glow plug, EPS, brake lights on as well as speedo not working and fuel distance fluctuating on the trip computer. I have done some digging, checked the battery connections and discovered that the ABS fuse was blown, obviously I swapped it but it keeps blowing fresh fuses.

These lights where all caused by going over the one pothole so I've no doubt it's one problem was just wondering if anyone has had similar issues!

Sounds to me like a bad earth point which has been shaken loose with the bump. Go round all the earth points you can find with a can of contact cleaner and a wire brush, and tighten them with a spanner.

Judging by what has been posted in the Mk5 Ibiza section, it might be chaffed wiring?

Problem solved, loose connection at back of fuse box!
