Has anyone had a problem with the accelerator clicking ? When I press down then take my foot off the accelerator it clicks very annoyingly.
It doesn't happen all the time but when it does I can repeat it with my hand, just press slightly and release, it clicks.

I'm planning another trip to the dealer but was just wondering if I'm alone on this one.

I sometimes get a clicking noise coming from the drivers footwell area. It seems to do it when it feels like. I haven't had it to the dealers or investigated myself yet so I cannot say if the clicking is actually coming from the accelerator.

hi murts, i had this on my stylance when it was new, i agree it was annoying but now its got about 4K on the clock and not doin it any more. must have been the newness wearing off.

I've done 6,000 now, it only really started happening after about 5,000, it's the fact that it intermittent that surprises me, I'd have thought it would either click or not, but some journeys it clicks, some it doesn't.

I have the same problem, its most annoying on the motorway as mine clicks on light throttle.

It seems to be when the throttle is pressed at an angle, if you push it in straight line does the click go away?

I think the problem is how the throttle base is fixed to the car, if it’s in clicking mode, move the throttle to the right with your hand it will click?

Got the garage to take a look when it was being serviced, but that day it was silent! Going to go back as it driving me mental!

i think ajweekes is right, i had a look at mine at the weekend and it would some from the base plate around the accelerator pedal. i would make sure this is fastened tightly and see if it does it then.

I think I fixed it! the problem seems to be the hinge. If you put pressure on the base of throttle the click goes away. If you pull the throttle forward it unclips and will folds flat to the floor. Sprayed some oil on the hinge and no click....

I'll give that a stab since I haven't got round to going to the dealers yet.
Cheers.
