Hi All :D!

Accelerating at full throttle is always awesome in my tuned Leon Cupra 290! However I've always wondered what the button-like feeling is or what it does? You can feel a "button" of some sort being pressed in the last 5-10% of travel on the gas pedal.

Anyone know what that does?

Most cars have this. All German cars (BMW, Mercedes). My Leon Cupra 280 does the same. It’s known as a 'kick down' switch. Basically at full throttle it will downshift pulling all the power out of the engine. More oomph.

What would that be in my case? (Manual transmission)

If you have the speed limiter set then pressing the pedal past the pressure point cancels it. If not then the click doesn’t do anything in a manual transmission as far as I know.

It's operates the optional Flux Capacitor;)

It serves two purposes in manual cars.
First, as said above it cancels the speed limiter.
Second, as it's stated in the drivers manual "if the eco mode has been selected in SEAT Drive Profile (individual in cupras), and the accelerator is pressed beyond a hard point, the engine power is automatically controlled to give your vehicle maximum acceleration".

Nice one, thanks.

It's the flat out button when you run eco mode which in my opinion don't do nothing lol
