ACT FR Edition touch screen on Nav broken 2 weeks in!

So the ACT Edition has been running great 2 1/2 weeks in and the missus is really enjoying it, however shes' now run into an issue with the clip in Nav which yesterday just stopped responding. It switches on when in the car and if someone calls that shows up on the screen but touch the screen and you get no response at all, can't move between screens etc.

Has anyone else seen a similar problem?

I had a portable Tom Tom she used to use in the old Ibiza that was 8 years old and the screen was perfect I can't believe the Garmin can be so shoddy?

Might be a software thing, have a look in the book to see how to reset it, think here might be a tiny hole on the underside of the unit that needs poking with a cocktail stick or something.
