Hello guys and girls, i've been looking at getting a new headunit for a while now, not sure what i want to go for though, the new unit has to be iPod compatible, as i rarely use CD's these days. Also obviously have the fm/am radio. I've been toying with the idea of a double din pioneer or alpine just because of the quality of the units and the screen is appealing however i don't hang out much in the car or have kids to entertain with DVD's (i'm only 18
) so i don't know whether i could justify the extra cost. I would want to control the iPod from the HU as i currently have the cheapo cable plugged into the CD Changer slot on the original Alana unit. I have looked at motorised screens in single din units, what are people's opinions on these, tempermental etc?
As the car doesn't have parking sensors i know with some units you can even add a reversing camera, can anyone shed some light on how these work i/e moment you flick into reverse does the screen change or do you have to faff about etc.
Any info/opinions would be great as i'm an ICE Newbie, thanks alot in advance.
