aerials on ebay?

I bought one of these and it didnt fit my Leon, the thread was too short!
When i compared it with my mates CTR aerial they were not the same mine seemed to be cheaper quality too! The description doesnt mention them being genuine Honda!
Maybe i just got a dodgy one?!

I had considered buying a shorter aerial are the ones from ebay any good or is it advisable to fork out the extra costs to know you are getting a decent quality one ??
Are 'Bee Sting' the best type ??

I've got one that'll fit...
LOL..Foliatec make a black one that'll fit. Let me know if anyone's interested as I don't use it (using a combo GSM/PCS/AM/FM one).

Yeah mine was from leinad-elgan too. As above took a shove to start the thread then went on fine. You can also trim the lip offthe bottom of it with a sharp knife, about 3-4 mm.
