AFS warning light

Hi Guys
I took my Cupra out tonight and was confronted by an exterior bulb warning light, followed a more detailed "AFS light system failure, consult user manual" warning in the MFD.

The lights looked ok, and after switching off the lights and the ignition for a minute or two and firing her up again, no more warning !

Weird !

Has anybody else had this and know what the cause is ?

I've had this atleast 4 seperate times on both my mk2 cupras. So it's not a co incidence... It seems to usually happen after I have had the fogs on???

Cheers for that, - I had indeed had the fogs on just a few minutes earlier, I wonder if this is a known glitch ?

It came on again yesterday, this time had not had fog lamps on.
I suppose a trip to the dealer is on the cards...

That's very interesting indeed.

Is it a 25 or 30 Amp fuse ?

According to the manual, Fuse F21 is for the Lambda sensor probe ?

seems to be 15, because its only number which i can find on it.

Thanks for that, yes it is 15Amp, I also checked, though it hasn't made any difference as the AFS warning still comes back on...

As already mentioned, a few of us have had issues with this, basically its a replacement unit time, pop it to the dealer and they'll replace.
