Wahhoooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After a play this afternoon with VCDS, I have FINALLY got the passenger door mirror dip to work on my 64 plate Leon SE Tech 1.6TDI. And it was so simple in the end.

All the settings were done in the adaptations in the 09 Central electronics 09, with security access 31347 as all the forum and web pages say, but despite all the settings being spot on, the mirror refused to dip. But today, I looked in the 52 Passenger door electrics, and then in long coding (no security access needed), and found that Byte 4 Bit 1 for Mirror memory function (with Memory seats) installed/active was ticked. And it doesn't have memory seats..... Unticked that as in the screenshot, so Byte 4 Bit 1 is NOT active and the mirror dip in reverse is working perfectly! Just make sure the mirror adjustment knob is set to left for it to work.

Hopefully this will help someone having the same problem, I searched on here and see there's a good few asked the same question why it isn't working. It's certainly worth checking this extra bit of coding in the Passenger door module. I can't believe it was one tick box in an place not mentioned anywhere else that was blocking this function!
