Aftermarket ECU's

Hi.

Wit so many on the market, I havn't a clue which to go for or works well with the 1.8T. I like the features of the Emerald.

What have others used?

1st question: you want drive by wire or drive by cable. very different and lesser list if you want to run drive by wire.

i run dta s60 on mine

I thought I could only go drive by cable from an old golf throttle body as per www.qpeng.com

so what car do you have & what engine (and spec) will you be putting in?

motec supports drive by wire. my dta does but is a development prototype and not available to the public (yet)

what car is this going into?

It's code AUQ (180HP) version. It's going in a Marlin 5EXI kit car.

Previously, had a Rover turbo engine in it. Which died.

The one by www.qpeng.com looks the easiest to set up and a good price.

But new to the VAG engines.
