just a quick question, on a standard air box where does the cold air feed go to down the arch? daz

did it come out ok, you dnt brake anything.because i wanna take mine out and maybie put it back,
once its out could it go back in ok?

yeah easy mate, you need to take out the air box 1st,, theres two mounts for the air box, disconnect all pipe work to the box, you have to pull it out towards the left as theres a locating bar, then just one bolt for the air feed, your laugh when you get it out its pathetic, lol, daz

the air feed that is , ive got a ram air on mine n just want to get rid of that air feed to make more room for my ca tube:think:

yeah the original would go back on, but to be fair even if you put the standard filter back on i'd leave the feed, its crap

ive just taken it out, what did they think that was going to achieve? lol

quiet non turbulent air, force fed from the high pressure area @ base of windscreen, pressurising the inner wing area(which is blanked each end with foam).... sad thing being they put a small entry pipe into the airbox.... very small.

Location is good, pipe size is not great for chipped motors.

Can someone explain exactly where the OEM position is please? I didn't take my standard box out so not too sure where to feed my dynatwist from.

Tom

The OEM air feed goes from the air box, into the wheel arch, turns and faces towards the rear of the car, sitting just above the wheel.
