So.. after using my horn to alert a privileged BMW driver who decided to cut me up I have now an air bag error on my dash! How do I get rid of this? Will it cause any future issues? Didn’t even push my horn that hard too

Don't know if it helps but I was told by a VW specialist I visited that the airbag light on VAG cars can come on for all sorts of reasons unrelated to the airbag system. In my case the airbag light came on and the guy couldn't find any issues other than a rather tired battery. He reset the airbag light and it didn't come back on. I replaced the battery myself a few weeks later and the light has never reappeared ??‍♂️.

I just hope it’s the same thing for me, the horn works as do all steering wheel controls. I have been told that if the horn stops working that could indicate more serious issues. Fingers crossed
