Hi Guys & Girls,
I am a Newbie, first time today, in fact, never been in a forum at all, so be gentle with me.
I have a Leon mk2 2006, 1.6 reference, and I am upgrading bits and bobs.
I have a FR steering wheel that I want to fit, but obviously I need to firstly remove the Airbag, then the present Steering Wheel, can anyone give me any help and tips to do this, many thanks, Paul

Hi mate, not sure on how to disconnect the airbags, but you'll probably get a better response in the Leon Mk2 section - this section of the forum is for forum technical problems - ie problems with the forum itself. Try deleting the thread and reposting in the Mk2 Leon section. A mod/admin may be along at some point and may move it for you if you cant work out how to do it yourself.

you will need to remove the steering wheel first then the airbag. once the steering wheel is off there are 2 clips round the rear which unclips the airbag.

i've got an FR steering wheel too for my cousins mk1 Leon FR+ TDi...just customized it as his doesn;t support the steering mounted controls

but as said above...post in the correct section next time...admin please move this thread :)
