Aircon automatically on

I finally took delivery of my VZ3 last week after the best part of 2 years waiting.

So far I'm loving it, infotainment system is my only gripe so far. There's just so many options/screens etc with very little/no explanation of most of them

I've noticed that whenever I get into and start the car the aircon is on, and in auto mode, I cannot find a way of turning this off? If I want it on, I'll switch it on... but at the moment I have to turn it off every single time I get into the car! Driving me mad!

Am I missing something easy here? Any ideas?

Maybe you can find an answer in another thread:

Turning A/C off

If you turn the ac climate control off, it appears you cannot operate the fan/heating system manually. Is that right or have I as usual missed the obvious?

Thanks, but sadly I don't think it mentions it, I've of course turned the 'air conditioning' off as mentioned in that thread but it's back on after a restart... I'll double check in a min though as for to pop out!

There is also an AC button at the bottom right corner

Yeah aware if that as well, I'll double check and let you know how I get on!
