alarm and light prob

hi guys first post so please be gentle done a search but cant find the same problem so here goes
ive got a mk1 leon 1.8 se non turbo w reg. my problem is this morning my interior light would not go out when the door was shut so slammed door and it did eventually go out. drove to work got out locked car with fob and alarm went off after 5 seconds , turned alarm off by unlocking with fob everytime it was locked alarm went off. i ended up locking car manually and so far the alarm has not gone off. also whilst driving the interior light came on randomly sorry about the long winded post any ideas whats wrong please help

ok thanks, ive noticed it only happens when my interior or courtesy light is set to come on with the door opening ive it turned it off now and the alarm doesnt go off is this still the microswitch?

Possibly the switch failure would account for the interior light staying on and not 'thinking' the door is closed.
The alarm I have no idea, could be related.

i also noticed when i had disarmed the alarm the door courtesy light remained on and flickering when it was shut

Sounds similar to a problem i've got, Im trying to get a door lock which is breaking from a Cupra R - can you confirm its the door lock i need to replace??

i suspect it might be water related as ive just found my rear light cluster had water in it and pissed out when i took the lamp out
