Alarm LED

I have noticed something - my son has a Leon Cupra R and when he locks his car/activates the alarm the red LED on the drivers door flashes, however, when I lock/alarm on my Cupra the red LED doesn't flash... anybody got any ideas?

could be that the alarms deactivated in vag com, could be a faulty LED or could be like my cordoba and if you hold lock for longer it will activate

i noticed the same on mine when i brought my cupra so i took the door card off(very easy) and where the led light plugs into,it had slightly came out so i just plugged it back in and all works well now.a nice flashing light to turn those theifs away.

Yeah the same happened to mine, just stopped working, but whilst i was there i removed it and changed it for a white LED instead. Just a bit of a personal touch, but very easy and cheap to do. But my money is on the lose connection.
