Now I'm starting to wonder if I was imaging it!

Car not used the last 10 days as there is an icy slope in front of my garage. Though I have had the battery on charge a couple of times during this period just to make sure no starting issues.

Came to lock up garage tonight and noticed that the red alarm light in the door appeared to be flashing a lot faster than normal. So thinking it might be damp, or low battery from sitting on it's bum doing nothing for 10 days, I started her up and left engine running for some 40 minutes. While I know it's not the best way to warm an engine up but not willing to risk that icy slope yet! Car nice and warm now (probably more so than the house!!!). Lock car and light now flashing about once a second. Faster than the alarm light in our Skoda but then again it always has been.

Starting to wonder if I was imagining it now (like you do)!!

Once a second is about right isn't it?

Any one come across anything like this before?

:):):)

yeah mine flashes about once a second, or round about that mate.

Thanks for that.

Think I might get a new battery before Christmas just to be on the safe side. Suppose I can't complain, it's the original one! So that makes it heading towards 8 years old! I always like to get value for money (ha). :D
