My mate had his car in for work done - The monkey's never torque'd the wheels nuts and on the way home his alloy came off, rolled under an articulated truck and was mangled... he managed to get it refurbed, so I think the BBS will be salvageable.

Nope, wouldn't have said so. We repair buckled wheels where I work on Saturday. You hit a curb or something? Must be seriously weak wheels to be damaged that bad assuming that's what you did

That doesn't actually look too far off my mates wheel - It was even cracked/split. Pretty sure it was alloy welded. It was powder-coated before he picked it up so not sure about scars/cracks, but it balanced up fine and ran for another 4-5months until my mate sold the car.

Suppose it depends on what people are willing to sign off on.

Lovely mk4, not usually a fan of the shape but I like the way it's goin! Just a quick question, how are you sealing the edges of the carbon vinyl? Ive wrapped alot of parts and I have only the one that keeps peeling away! So to know how to stop this would be great!

Thanks mate , big parts that I wrap and the backs are out of sight I seal with a spray glue and then gloss over the top, this keeps from peeling
