Alhambra - Problems with the indicators

Hi

First post so Hi guys

I have a 2002 Alhambra, 1.9TDI

I am having an issue with the indicators, the driver side (right) is sticking, not pysically but electrically. the passanger side is flashing once and then won't flash again. The hazzards work on the right side but not on the left.

I have had the car into a garage who spent 3 days on it and came to no conclusion.

I would really appreciate some ideas.

tried a flasher relay in it yet ? ooh and when it does flash once is it lighting up but not flashing or just once and off ? but sounds like a bad earth/connection somewhere

bypassing the switch manually could help diagnose it but for life of me can't remember what way they run

i know on too low a current draw (i.e. led's etc ) the relay won't flash but if you take out one of the standard bulbs they usually flash faster

personally i would wire test the relay / switch first as it's working one way at least or rune some signals from the working side to the non working side

It is flashing outside once, then inside very fast but not outside.

It is a confusing one.

replace and double check all the connections personally but ill go for a relay at a stab
