Anyone got one of these fitted to their Altea?

just curious as to whether the egr itself flags up an error code without an egr fitted or the CEL light will come on?

Removing the EGR will bring up a CEL light and Allards have gone bust so don`t buy it from their web site.

when did they go bust? friend of mine just bought one last week, he got his yesterday.
