Altea 1.9 Tdi engine?

Hi all

Just a quick one, can anyone tell me which engine is in the Altea reference sport 1.9Tdi(105bhp)? Is it a PD engine?

possible engine codes : BJB/BKC/BXE/BLS

a year might help in narrowing it down...

Cheers fella, the car is a 56 plate

I do have the car, should the engine code be in the documents somewhere?

open the boot and lift up the carpet to get to the spare wheel, you should see a big white sticker with the car model etc written on it. It will say on that which engine you have

And if the sticker isn't there it should be in the log book aswel...

earlier models had the bkc later ones had the bxe and its also on the timing belt cover in the engine bay.
