Hey guys I have a 56 plate altea tdi stylance it has the mirror fold in feature from the knob inside.
When I turn the knob to fold them in they go in straight away but when I get back into the car and turn the knob to fold them back out they don't fold out until about 2-3 minutes later.
Also can I programme them to fold in with the remote?

Hold the lock button down and they should fold in. Sometimes they stick my drivers side mirror has done it once so far. Hope this helps.

Tried double pressing it? Can be very temperamental. I'm sure these problems have cropped up before tho have you tried doing a search mate?

54 plate TDI Sport here, and the folding mirrors on mine don't respond to either the remote button or the key in the lock being held over. The windows to respond to the key but not the remote.

It may be the case that the earlier models didn't have this feature in the firmware. I'd need VCDS to check, and I only have VCDS-Lite at present which is not much use on a Can-bus car...

Folding mirrors from the remote on that year is not available, probably only facelift onwards. I have seen it on a 58plate.

I have 55plate stylance, there is no delay when turning the knob to fold them out, perhaps they need exercising:D

As far as I am aware it was only stylance models but not sure from what year they added it. My cars a 08 and has it.
