Alternative to meguiars endurance tyre gel

Hi all, about to finish my 3rd bottle of endurance tyre gel, starting to get a bit fed up of the super shiny\greasy finish

Can anyone recommend me an alternative

No more than £15 that is a gel and gives a super dark finsh to the tyre \ trim which is not as shiny ?

Gtechniq T1 tyre and trim gel, its the dogs bollocks. Leaves the tyres a nice natural looking colour and lasts for ages, you don't need to put on much either, if you put on more it will look shinier. Put it on about 2 months ago and its still looking good. Costs about £12 a bottle IIRC, a little goes a long way.

Blackfire long lasting tyre gel is the best I have used. It is very expensive but it stays put regardless of weather. I am currently using autoglym after my blackfire ran out but it is nowhere near as long lasting.

Iv heard the autoglym product is the same as the interior rubber and vinyl dressing!

I use the Autoglym Tyre Dressing - pretty happy with it.

Having tried many, many tyre dressings over the years the only 2 I have been happy with and use on customers cars all the time are Gtechniq T1 and CarPro PERL, both are excellent.

I suggest applying less Megs endurance and buffing it off with a MF if you don't want the greasy / shiny look.

When I apply mine I do one thin coat, leave to "soak / absorb", do other stuff around the car for a while, tidy away my hose etc, buff off, apply another coat to soak... go inside for a while, come back out and buff again and I get really natural looking, long lasting tyres with a "sheen" but not looking greasy.

I did a comparison against T1 and cost / ml and durability works out the same as Megs Endurance... apart from the fact T1 lasts longer so you actually have to apply less often. If you want to save time in your process then perhaps this is the best option then!

I'm v. impressed with GTechniq T1. Cost wise (just roughly) Megs is ~£19/litre and T1 is ~£51/litre (about 2.5 times the price) but I find I put megs on every time I wash so in the last couple of weeks 3x applications whereas with T1 it would only be 1x application. So all in all probably as cost effective. Just a thought.

Hi peeps whats up wi using boot polish either leave as is or leave on for abit while packin wash kit away then buff up if required
