Alternatives to PS4Ss and P0s

Hello guys and sorry for just another tire thread, but after searching for a bit I couldn't really find an answer.

I know people are recommending Michelin's PS4Ss and Pirelli P Zeros but these are bit over the budget at the moment and the summer is here. For this reasons I would like to know what you guys are using or what you'd recommend for this season as a viable alternative to these two top tier tires, still performing really well, have a good dry/wet grip, not a lot harshness, not so loud and the likes, but which maybe will not break the bank as hard. They will be used for daily and some spirited driving.

I've used Vredestein Ultrac Vorti on another car, and while they are pretty grippy, they seem to be a bit too harsh, feels a bit like you're driving on wooden wheels.

Any recommendation would be appreciated

I have used the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric tyres in the past; however, whilst the price of the Michelin PS4S are a little higher, they last considerably longer in my opinion.

For the Goodyears I was getting c.12k miles per set of tyres, whereas c.18k miles for the Michelins.

Just depends how you calculate your costs - lump sum or cost per mile/km?

I run Uniroyal RainSports on mine. Decent grip in wet and dry and about £75 per tyre I think. They've done 13,000 miles and still have about 4-5mm of tread. I don't drive the car that hard but I get on well with them without breaking the bank.
