Hi, was thinking of getting a AmD remap and was just wondering if anyone else had them and how people rated them?

I have tried search and just seem to end up with a lot of off topic threads

Thanks in advance :)

Thanks, I think I will be going with the stage 1 ;)
Will I be fine running it with a forge 007p, green coton panel filter, forge tip and milltek cat back?

Don't listen to DK he is very biased ;) Me on the other hand..............................nah jokes aside they are great and you will be pleased. They recently did mine and I still have a big grin on my face!!

haha

Bit of a drive from Birmingham but I think i might end up going there then, as they have a deal on a remap and a milltek that i might have to take advantage of ;)

Now the only question is resonated or non resonated lol

No more question, my arm has been twisted and im going for the non res ;)

The Milltek and most other system's come in 2 parts, center section and back box, so if you decide the non res is too loud you can swap the center section for one with an extra box.

im running a AMD stage1 map, miltek non res cat back, currently a green pannel with smoothed box and 3" cold air feed, 007p DV, autobahn88 tip, huge front mount, N75H, 249 bypass and a few other little tricks
car pulls like fook (when im boost leak free), still not met a R32 that can keep up, nor a scooby, a boxter, civic R, anoyingly saxo vtr and vts still get me off the line though but my 0-60 in the wet was 7.2... not to bad when you think of a slippy A40 with standing water along with budget tires and one of them being a slic on its inside edge, the boxter is 7.8 standard in the dry... you could say im happy with the remap and pulling 268bhp on a 122K engine before the front mount went in...

True, I suppose there are bargains to be had out there! You've done well though to get all of that for the amount you've paid lol. Gonna have to have a search on fleabay lol.

AMD here too, really very good :)

Glad to hear such good reviews :)
When I get all the full member privileges I will be messaging them for a price ;)

There's loads of places near Birmingham that can provide you with a quality map / service

P-Torque

Stealth Racing

R-Teeechhhh

AMD are the dogs danglies :)

i went in with a jetex sealed induction (jabba heat shield) cat back miltek, and 007 (yellow spring) DV with a stage one map being done and got 272.6 bhp and 297 lb torque :)

great feed back on the car and future work to be done if wanted, waiting room is quality with a ps2 to play on or watch dvds, offers to take you to lakeside for some shopping whilst they work.

wouldnt take my car to another plae honeslty :)
