As title says really. Have recently taken the plunge and am now running STG 2 + and was wandering how many others on here had the AMD STG 2 + map. How does anyone rate the map (power vs driveability etc) Also, if they'd noticed any niggles or anything else with it? All responses / points / advice welcomed! :D

Nope, that was one of my fellow countrymen from along the coast ;). He got their S2+ installed and a few other trick bits. He may be along to post and share his thoughts and opinions. Some interesting ones by all accounts based on the PM's we have had.

What AMD was it that loaded this software onto the car then?

So, after a 1500 mile round trip (did some other stuff too) thats me back in Scotland and all sorted with my Stage 2+. What a difference, poor car really struggles to put the power down! I am happy with the level of service from AMD, really professional and filled me with confidence.

I will let him go in to more detail if he sees fit to :)

OOPS

I just realised the OP is the said fellow countryman I was referring to

Thats what I get for sinking too many Italian reds before coming on here hahahaha.

Italy is a bad place - thats my excuse :p

was it your car that was in the amd essex shop two saturdays ago?

Hello mate, no that wasnt me. I had my car down there last Thursday. The guys had it all day and had couple of them working on it but they managed to do everything in one day for me which was awesome as I didnt have to get a hotel!

Took it to AMD Essex (the West Thurrock one) and spent the day at Lakeside spending money on crap!;)

Ha, that's not a bad shout actually mate. May have to look into it! Gimme a shout next time your thinking of heading down there!:)
Never done any 1/4 mile stuff at all so should be interesting!;)

I won't be planning to go any time soon, and if I do, will more than likely take the bike as the car is not getting tuned up and the best it can do standard is low to mid 14's based on the old cars figures.

Would certainly let you know though, and could give some advice on getting yours down to low 13's and hopefully 110+mph ET's :). Strip the crap out of it for a shout at 12's :)

That's cool mate, some advice would probably be very welcomed and needed!;) Wont be going down the whole 'stripping out' route as the wife would have my balls on a platter!

Just can't wait for the summer now to get out and find some more ace roads to blast around!:D

You can strip it out for the day though, and add lighter wheels, battery, roll bars, brakes, remove the cat, a/c etc etc etc
