Amp?

Im looking to run the standard Leon speakers off an amp. What sort of power of amp would I need what other things should I be looking for. My headunit is 50Wx4 will an amp make much of a difference?

I doubt it very much that the standard speakers would benefit running them off an amp, the speakers are so poor generally that they are matched quite evenly to the Head Unit.

Ive got my standard speakers running of a 4 channel alpine amp at about 80 watts per channel. Complimented with 2 12 inch subs with the crossover limiting the bass slightly for the door speakers. It sounds awesome, so clear no distortion and plenty off bass.

Running all speakers from an amp is better IMO. Sound quality improves and HU won't get as hot.
