Android Auto Random Disconnections

Mib2 side I understand was fine tuned for AA with updated firmware on each of the standard trains. 5xx being the most recent, 516 release. So for the older trains like 4xx series they produced later releases for those. Why when you look at the lists you see later versions. Maintenance releases as I understand it. Mib3 has had its own issues.

I have had this problem for ages and stopped using AA because of it.

If it is the same reason as mine then your MIB unit is not the problem

Android has a bug that seemingly has not been fixed yet (or certainly hasn't on my phone yet P30 pro). Here's an old article about it

https://piunikaweb.com/2021/06/22/a...-after-phone-reaches-sufficient-charge-level/

Basically when the phone reaches 100% charge it momentarily disconnects the USB, this then disconnects AA. Once the phone drops a bit in battery level and starts recharging then the problem repeats every time the phone hits 100%.

I thought i had fixed it with a setting to only allow the charge to go to 80%, but now it just disconnects at 80% rather than 100%. Tried all the other suggestions and it makes zero difference

seems some people just ended up buying a usb power blocker to stop their phone charging via the usb port once it got near 100%. crap solution but at least it wont be constantly disconnecting
