My mate is going for a remap there at the end of this month for his Mk5 Golf GTi - He's to log before and after and if he's uhappy they'll reflash with the original map and give him a full refund. We're quite local so that's fine... can see it being a dif story if you had to travel further.
We were going to get 50% off the second car if we put the two cars in together, but I think I'm going to hold off for a custom map.
I thought I'd update this thread...
My mate was on the rollers today - Ran 261bhp on his Mk5 Golf GTi! Very impressive! The fuelling was spot on and the delivery going by the graph was perfect.
His spec from memory is carbonio intake, scorpion cat-back and panel filter. For a basic stage 1 remap I wouldn't go past angel tbh!
Fiesta ST or Focus?
Yeah, well me and my mate knew a few of the other boys that were going (though only one ran his car - Ed30 Golf which made 350bhp)
I only decided to go last minute. Ran mine, totally standard made 220bhp (it's an AMK 210) so quite happy. The guy said it was running a bit lean, but I remember the last time we went up to Dastek every single Seat was told they were running lean? Including my Ibiza Cupra, so not overly concerned. Don't know if it's the way they were reading it with the lambda up the exhaust?
I saw you mate, did you have the sliver leon fr 07 plate? I was with my mate getting his focus's map adjusted? Or am i wrong in saying this?
No you're completly right mate, that would be me and my preggers missus, I remember seeing the Focus, didn't it have polished ST wheels on it?
Hi Folks,
Was looking at Angel tuning, I sent them an email for a potential Aberdeen visit and Paul got back to be straight away with a price of £275 inc vat and travel to Aberdeen.
What do you guys think of the filter option... does it make any difference?
I've read a few things online that they dont, and a few things that they do - no idea who to believe!
Also, does anybody know a dyno in Aberdeen who could do a before & after so i can see if its worth it?
Stuart
i thought my bluefin stage 1 was quick until i tried a revo stage 1. Then i realised it was mega slow
