Annoying traffic announcements

Is there anyway to disable this? I've been through every setting I can see and still, I'll be driving along, and it'll warn me of roadworks in my area even if not on the road I'm on. It's annoying. I've turned off various things like traffic announcements but I still get them.

If you've switched them off double check where you've switched them off. It could be you still have them active on either the car or on Android Auto/Apple Car Play.

Yeah, turn off announcements in the satnav menu. I think you need it all disabled….

Traffic Announcements (TA) are the automated radio traffic reports which suddenly come up from the local radio station...just when you're singing along to your favorite tune .
