Rough Idle 1.8 TSI DSG

Hi, I've have an issue with a rough idle, I'll try and post a video. This makes driving in traffic very annoying, and it even creates a fault so the cruise control stops working.
I've had it in the garage a couple of times, and the MAP sensor was changed, but the problem still persists, I've also changed the oil cap in case the seal had failed as this only started after I topped up the oil. Any ideas? I do have access to VCDS so can post the output of this if needed.

Mines doing exactly the same. Have you go any error codes? I’ve changed map sensor and throttle body.

Make sure the throttle body and butterfly are clean. Recirculated oil deposits build up and cause blockages that starve the engine of air when idling. I've found the TB needs a good degrease and clean every 30k miles or so.

Did you get this sorted? I’ve just fixed mine. It turns out the oil cap wasn’t on properly and creating a vac leak. 🙄 might be worth checking.

I thought it might be the oil cap, I’ve had it on and off a few times, I’ve brought a new one and still the same. It has a definite click when closing it, so feels as it should do.
Glad you sorted it out. I’ll have to keep digging. I’ve started losing a bit of oil, about 100ml a month so I probably have a leak

Did you clear the codes and did a new scan? are these the error codes of that re-scan? Check the PCV, if this is leaking (internally) this can cause rough idle and correlation errors.
It never hurts to replace the PCV with an older car/higher mileage, as these tend to leak over time...
