Okay..

I ordered my TFSI FR 3 weeks ago (July 17th), was told that it was still in Spain but was built and "ready for dispatch". Was told that the car landed in the country on Weds evening but they still don't have it down at the dealer. They tell me that they only know when it'll arrive the day before it does ie as it's loaded onto a transporter.

Is this normal?? I'm getting impatient now....

no lies there im afraid....the dealer only knows at the last minute

I work for Holders and it normally take upto 7 days for the car to arrive at the dealership from docking. But this also depends on how far away from where it docked into and also the amount of stops the driver has to make on his deliveries!!

I would imagine it will be in at the dealership in the next week, then all that has to be done is PDI'd, registered and valeted, that in theory can all be done with in a couple of days!!
