• Hey Guest💡👉 We have just launched our new Dealer Directory and review service Find out more now
Do you not think it's worth it because it's brand new??

Ok lads thanx for the advice....i'll hold out for a lil while and try find a decent 2nd hand one!!
If all else fails tho i'm gonna have to fork out for the new one

i got a reconditioned one for about £150 sometime ago, there was no issues with it at all

i sold my ibiza, but my friend had all the same work done and he still has his ibiza, and the turbo is still going very strong

got brand new one for £350, with internals uprated!

there some cheap ones out there, just keep looking!

a guy on ukmkIV's, he runs in the vw cup.
he got another new k03s, for £350, but its just a standard one

Paid £150 for mine. It came with cracks in the exhaust side when i put it on over two years ago and it's still going strong!!;)

£495 is allot of cash, but the more and more i look at the one on EBay UK, the more it gets tempting to buy it.

I searched the US and couldn't find anything, unlucky i guess.

I will find out tomorrow if my Turbo or the actuator has gone, maybe both ;-).

I have to get it reverted back to standard map at lunchtime so as the main dealer are able to use their "VAG diagnosis for idiots guide" to diagnose the problem. Finger crossed it means a new turbo.

Has anyone used one of those 1.8t Actuators from Forge???

They won't tell you it's actuator they'll just tell you it's the turbo. Any turbo related probs and they'll advise you to replace it - scamming bast*rds!
