Another FR ride quality thread

I just wondered, as far as it's possible, could anyone here with fsds on their FR describe in a percentage the improvement in ride quality you get with the Konis? I only ask as I'm trying to work out whether it's worth me upgrading. I'm having a hard time adjusting to the new car and unable to actually try them out on another FR.
I'm making my decision entirely on the say-so of cupra.net forum goers! Thanks.

I have a TFSI Sport, the predecessor of the FR, and after a few months of ownership decided that it was change the suspension or sell the car, because the ride was so appalling.

I liked the car too much to sell it, so after hearing good things about the Koni FSD and Eibach Pro combination, I went ahead and had them fitted. It transfomed the car for every day driving, no more spine jarring over every little lump and bump in the road! Two and a half years later and I'm still happy!

In percentage terms I would rate the ride improvement as 100% better; the handling is more subjective, as it handled well before, so maybe 10-20% improvement?

Agreed. I think the springs make the biggest percentage contribution to both ride and handling but the FSD's are a worthwhile improvement. Both make the Fr a different and better car although if the budget is tight the springs alone are a fine improvement.

Really? I thought the shocks would make the biggest improvement.
