Another Newbie...

Hi from another new owner...

Changed from an Octavia VRS (2ltr Petrol) to a Leon 5dr FR 1.4 ACT150 with a bundle of goodies...

Didn't need the size of the VRS any more - just me and the other half now, and it was a bit of a tight squeeze to get out of the VRS when it was in the garage, so was looking for something a bit smaller without going down the Astra/Focus route... looked at lots of other makes, but kept on coming back to the FR - just something about it that made me put that top of the list...

Pre-registered in Jan this year so got the bonus of £30 annual road tax, which is nice... now got it up to just under 900 miles so still running it in, but pleased with it so far....... Seems to have a minor flat spot as you engage the clutch to pull away, but I will get that sorted when it gets it's first service, unless it gets worse as it loosens up, in which case a dealer visit will be in order.

Prior to the Octavia I ran a 350BHP STI Scoob as my daily drive for 6½ years, so the FR's fuel economy is a nice bonus as well......... The VRS was good on fuel, but this FR is way, way better.....

So far - very pleased....... long may it continue

Out of curiosity - been looking on this forum to see if there is any 'merchandise' to buy to stick on the car that shows you are a member of this Forum, but can't see anything...... With my previous Skoda VRS I could buy a Briskoda sticker from the Briskoda Forum so other members (and dealers) would know I was part of 'the club' and prior to that when I had a Scoob, you could get Scoobynet stickers... but SeatCupra.Net stickers seem to be absent from where I'm looking...

Am I missing a link to these goodies?

Any help would be appreciated.
