Any BAM Engine Fit As Replacement?

Well I have a Seat Leon Cupra R and it needs a replacement engine because of bottom end trouble, would any BAM engine codes fit, such as engines removed from a Audi TT as I have been looking on EBay and am unsure which engines will fit as a replacement?

Yes...Bam/AMK will work...

Not cheaper to actuall rebuild it istead of spend £1400+ for a Bam engine..

any 06A block will do. I got the AGU bcs thats bigport

not all 06A is the same, the 210/225bhp engines have lower compression ratio, some 06A engines dont have the hole on the head for the SAI, some have VVT and some dont, some have 19mm wristpin some have 20mm wrist pin.

if he just want a easy swap when not all other 06A engines will be fine, then its better to get the right engine code the first time.

but im sure if its a BAM then it dosnt matter if its from either S3/TT/LCR

but like DaNnY_LaD sayd, why not rebuild that engine?
