Anyone come from a FR or Supercopa

Hi all as you may know I am currently looking for a Leon but at first wanted a Supercopa then a Mk3 with the Kit.
Trouble is can't afford a new one with kit and second hand they are like rocking horse poo so am now considering going back to maybe going for a supercopa.
Anyone come from Mk2 to Mk3 advice and opinions please.

have driven both the mk3 is more refined to driver but the mk2 supercopa is a lovely car still

you might pick up a 12/62 reg for about 13k but they can be rare

jennings had a 12 plate in for 11995 but had 57k miles on

Thnaks Marty would you say the Supercopa feels quicker even though the mk3 is

The mk3 has more punch if you buy a 184 fr, the super copa is 170 bhp- if have one though

will just wait and see what comes along I guess, don't want a standard 184 fR needs a bit extra for my eye but as mentioned the styling kit looks superb. Ideal would be to find agarage with one of each for a back to back test drive but I think my chances are slim..........

There's lots of options you can add on the mk3, minimum you want is 18s, tech pack, convenience pack which is auto lights n wipers, winter pack is heated seats n washers. If you keep eyes open there be some decent demo's available just before turn of year. You'll pay 19-20k for 1 with styling kit

I'm currently driving a mk7 golf I picked up it has styling kit, panoramic roof and every extra you can get - only 150 bhp but looks the part

What Golf is that not a GTD as would be 184 sounds nice, that is the thing i am finding with the Leon to get the spec i want in Mk3 it is taking it past or into Golf GTD and Audi A3 territory

It's a tdi gt 150 blue motion with technology pack styling kit, convenience and winter packs plus a pan roof and 18 inch diamond cut alloys , got adaptive cruise control
