Anyone got Golf GTI alloys on their MK2?

They usually pop up on eBay, I paid £40 for mine second hand from a fellow forum member, really brighten up and complete the interior. A vast improvement on the standard rubber crap
Those are £50 currently on ebay when I last checked. Also I do remember seeing a Leon with GTI alloys somewhere here but personally I dont think they suit
Plus £10 postage isn't it? From outside the UK too, quite tempted to buy them but don't know if I'd get £60 worth of enjoyment out of them...
I wouldn't dash out 60 for them, to be honest, because the current pedals do their job well enough. lol
And ugh.. I wouldn't install GTi wheels on my Leon if I am honest! I actually hate seeing them on regular Golfs (non-GTI) let alone Leons.

Seen a set on gumtree but cant decide what ones I want.
Like Black alloys like Cupra and VMR's then was thinking getting my FR alloys refurbished in black. Decisions decisions.

They make the interior IMO. Do people get £160 worth of enjoyment out of an Arm rest? Do people get £1000 worth of enjoyment out of new wheels? Do people get £30 worth of enjoyment out of an audi R8 oil cap?.... All these things are not worth the money but they look/function damn good, this is what modding is about
But anyway to answer the original question:
I quite like them. It would obviously be better if they where on a car that doesn't look completely hideous
