Hi Nige been asking some of the lads you fitted the back boxes on lately as i wondered if there was anything additional to connecting this exhaust up other than removing the old and just sliding this in place.

they mentioned that it will need connection up like a boost gauge so another connection. will it come with instructions and all the parts required for me to fit if its posted to me?

Hi Rob
Comes with a connector pipe which makes it plug and play.
Cheers
Nige

So maybe it still does...

The connector pipe for connecting to your miltek downpipe? It doesn't sound like the fittings for a powervalve because you need a boost tap and 4mm hose. I was lead to believe that for powervalve you need the BCS downpipe for the front silencer to connect to.

Lol I love how wound up you're getting over an exhaust system, if you don't like it, then so f**k, no one is interested.

Would rather have a car that has the best components on it, than a bodged together car.

It seems betty your the only person that gets wound up if anybody strays from the BCS brand.

define best components? the most expensive? does this mean there better built?

deffintly not.

It seems there is a bit of confusion here, I think you need to ask if your getting a Powervalve or Non Powervalve cat back.

Sorry tight arses

Yeah I have said before that its a shame that such a nice bit of kit goes under the car, but the tips look nice and they actually fit the diffuser properly.

I have the powervalve system, do any of the pleb brands offer that?

.....no.
oooh, such valves, mega power

Do you ever hear of BCS downpipes cracking?

........no.
Funny, mine hasn't either

You keep your cheap sh1te and I will be enjoying my trouble free powervalve exhaust that sounds better than yours and doesnt drone like yours
Funny, last time i checked mine was made from the same grade stainless as used on the BCS. Drones? Mine doesn't drone last time i checked :cry:COLOR]

How wound up WE'RE getting?:rofl::whistle:

Best component? So who died and made BCS THE best ehaust maker ever? I would love to know how any exhaust that isn't made by BCS is bodged and is automatically inferior?

That is all :rofl::D

BTW i have no quarrel with BCS and don't doubt that they make an awesome bit of kit, but there are many alternatives that work just as well that don't cost more than £1k

Then again i'm of the same opinion on intakes and wouldn't pay £420 for a Revo intake which consists of a single pipe with a few bends, bit of siicone, sheet of steel and £30 worth of foam filter

People can get what they want, doesn't wind me up if they go elsewhere, but my point us backed up by the OPs thread.

he bought a sh1t downpipe and he gets loads of drone.

End of story really.

You get extra scene points for the revo though?

Nah. If i went to goodyear n ordered a tyre id expect a goodyear tyre so when I went to powervalve exhausts guess what i was expecting.

No, theyre called BCS exhausts. Not powervalve.

They do powervalve and non-powervalve

Nige will probably refund you if its not what you wanted, but I am sure he would have gone through all of this with you

U didnt ask for a powervalve system, so you can't really complain lol

I wouldn't say the downpipe I bought was ****

It's a custom 3" turbo back built in house by exhaust uk. Cost me £795 all in

I'm happy with the down pipe, I'll be keeping it on.

I just think it's to loud for me. Now I no I can still go stage 2 with oem cat back along with my 3" de-cat down pipe..... I'll just do that.

My downpipe won't be any different to yours, apart from the fact there's nothing tapped into it to feed a power valve In your back box (or wherever it is)

I think the cat back (well downpipe back in my case) sounds to loud and droney. That's why it's coming off.

Is yours boomy low down/off boost??

I want a cat back system that's as quite as stock on boost, with a bit more noise when opened up..... My cobra system doesn't do this unfortunately.

Oh well the monies I get back from selling will be spent on a HPFP ready for 2+

Answer to betty and other brand lovers
I bought 3" downpipe from Germany 300 euros (gasket included) http://www.ebay.de/itm/3-76mm-Downp...007242834?pt=DE_Autoteile&hash=item2eccf71e52

and other parts made custom (welder was ex-car racing champion) - middle section+silencer + Cupra R style tips (tips from e-bay too 22 GBP each)

It cost me 1k euros, overall
And here is the sound clip (not good with i-phone)

Enjoy! :)

1 the tips don't sit very well in the diffuser at all, look like random bits of metal
2 what is the conversion rate from euro to gbp?

1k jesus christ.....your exhaust tip's arent even cut at an angle.

i paid £126 for my downpipe, £90 for my 200cell cat then £300 for the cat back exhaust.
