Getting my Leon Fr tdi 170 tommorow :D , in yellow citrus! Been looking into dpf problems and i know their a pain get them all the time on cars in work.
Had a look at local tuning specialists and found that eco tec performance is on special offer for septmber at £449 for dpf removal, software removal and custom tuning.

Anyone used these? they claim 100% success at removing the software but i would like some real stories not just their word? as i dont want to be spending that much money for the lights to start flashing in 1000miles

Just to inform there is no Dpf light on the dash now and i will be doing 50miles a day on the a55 so should be enough for it but i would just prefer for peace of mind to remove ,,, and maybe that extra bit of power

thanks in advance , Gethin

Earlier today I had my 57 Leon FR TDI dpf removed, software remapped and custom tuned by Simon at Ecotech performance... and I haven't stopped smiling. :D
I've owned my Leon since May, and despite doing alot of motorway/A road miles, the regen was happening at least once a week.

hmm sounds promising :p

How have you found mpg? and what are you getting roughly ? thanks :)

I haven't been on a sustained run yet to measure the mpg, although I am driving to London and East Sussex over the next couple of days. So I'll post some findings then.

Also Gethin, the £449 you quoted, I paid a little bit more than that. It's best if you give Ecotech a call and chat with Simon.
