Just been down to HiQ to have my Vred fitting and a 4-wheel laser alignment.

Basically alignment was pretty much out in all areas!

However, they can't adjust the camber. Is this something that can be changed easily?

Also I seem to recall stories that the alignment on leon mk2 is poor from factory so if hiQ have now reset my alignment based on the computer readings for my car is this likely to be wrong also?

Vreds grip much better btw :)

Not sure about the mk2 leon but my old LCR had 3 bolts on the wishbone going through slots into the hub, it was possible to loosen the bolts and slide the hub in/out on the wishbone as required the just re-tighten the bolts. this may be a completely useless peice of info for you but might be worth a look at the MK2 to see if its the same, i would look but my car is away at the moment.

another option is to add whiteline top mounts for around £150, this will give you alot of camber adjustment

but there must be another way to do it.

Sorry if this is no use to you

Front toe, rear toe and rear camber is adjustable.
Front camber is NOT adjustable

Cheers thought that may be the case.

I will be adding other mods such as ARBs, WALK and engine mounts and poly bushes so this will probably screw the adjustments up anyway! lol

Handles much better but car still lifts and steering goes light under hard acceleration but one step at a time.

front camber is not adjustable on any of the mk5 platform cars except the audi TT.

potential group buy in progress on the gti forum. http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,13910.0.html

you will gain an extra 0.5 degrees negative camber as well as lighter control arms. these will very likely give the same level of improvment as installing a rear anti roll bar on a car.

if you combined this lower control arm with front and rear ARBs, WALK, coilovers (reputable ones), LSD and the car would be absolutely phenominal.

here is a review o someone with it fitted
