My freind is buying a ibiza soon with a APR remap/chip and i just wondered how it conpares to a revo? i.e boost spike, BHP and so on, i think its standard apart from the remap/chip.
It's off this site with yellow tints and on a 51 plate if its yours some input would be nice.

When I was looking for an Ibiza, the plan was to have it Revo'd. Turns out I bought one with APR in it, and I've loved every minute of it  The boost does tail off earlier with the APR software but to be honest unless you are a real picky fooker in search of another couple of bhp, I'd just buy the car if its clean, at a good price and the spec he wants. In a perfect world I'd have a Revo or even better "custom" map, but hey the car came up with the right bits and in the right colour, so the APR saved me a fortune :)

No idea about it being switchable. Bill we've actually met before, i've been over your place with Olly20vT a few times. Am i right in thinking you are a REVO dealer and can provide remaps? If so, what sort of price would i be looking at to swap the APR remap for a REVO as i'm very impressed with Ollys REVO?

Is the car from the South Manchester area? If so, I know the owner. :)

Very good car, maintained by Awesome too. :)

I couldn't tell you how it performs against a Revo'd car really, but I did have a sprint against it when I had my Revo trial, wasn't much in it at all, he probably had the edge though, altho I only had the trial software...
