Hey guys,

So I recently discovered that I work approximately 5 seconds away from an official APR dealer (lucky me eh). I just wanted to get some feedback on the APR maps for the Cupra, to see if it is worth taking the plunge.

I'm not bothered if the Revo map is more powerful, as power isn't a major issue, I just want MORE of it :) The main things I'm concerned with is reliability, smoothness, and general reviews on the company.

I know Revo suggest an upgrade of plugs as part of their maps, do APR do the same, or would I have to upgrade the plugs manually? (or just stop being lazy and ask myself? :p)

Thanks in advance for any info you guys can send my way, Ross.

Really big in America and there doing the software and tuning for the guys on here with the loba hybrid turbos vrsy and hurdy a think it is. So all in yeah there gunna know there way around the 1.4tsi's

Hurdy had his done at statller in Sheffield which is a revo dealer great guys Steve and Craig

Yep, I'm still using the Revo stage 2 map at the moment. No point in going for the APR hybrid map until APR can deliver a DSG remap to get rid of the torque limiter.[B)]

Hurdy you having any look with the dsg map

Only if I sent my DSG mechatronics unit off to Unitronic in the USA. They say they can do it!

Otherwise it is a waiting game whilst APR develop theirs. Revo have said they will do a DSG map.......eventually, but they have other developments that take first priority. P!sees me off a little as I first asked last November and they said after Christmas. After Christmas they said early in 2012. Early in 2012 they said within the first quarter of 2012. After the first quarter of 2012 they said "maybe by the end of the year". I get the feeling they either aren't bothered or know they will have issues getting by the ecu protection software!:(

I think they are struggling with it a bit to be honest I'm gonna go hybrid but don't see point till they do Somthing with the dsg

The USA is along way to send for it to come back and possible not work or be worse than before

Ps are you going to inters

I'm not booked yet but have a number of options for club stands. Gonna book tomorrow, so I'll let you know then.
Yes I probably was asleep, combination of late night followed by early morning and then working nights the same day after the show, so needed my beauty sleep.:D
Steve is still on the mend, his drain in his shoulder is out and he is still on antibiotics, but it will be a slow road to a full recovery. Took him 50 blurays up to watch to relieve the boredom.
