Are the frs limited to their top speed?

According to the brochure I've pulled out, DSG equipped petrol FRs pull 28/1000 in 7th and mid 27 for the manual. Seems very similar for both engines.

I work at a car factory in the centre of the UK and the are NO speed restrictors on ours.
Also, I recently had a Revo fitted to my Fr130 and apart from being a little better on fuel
(45 up from 42 mpg overall) it;s got rid of that awful trailing throttle judder in slow traffic.

I've done an indicated 144mph in my 1.8T FR. I'm not sure what it's rated top speed is, possibly 140-143. It was still going I could easily get to 155 I reckon but I had to slow down at that point. Not sure how accurate the speedo is at that speed either.

On mine an indicated 100 mph reads 93 on my GPS so
Probably knock 10 mph off your 144 or download a
GPS speedo for your iPhone.

Yeah that sounds about right then since I'd be doing about 134.
