Hi Guys please help.

This may be purely a fluke.

Went to Halfords and brought a new set of wiper blades front and rear.
Fitted them in the car-park (as you do), tested them and all was good

Also brought an aftermarket whip (what a waste of £20 odd quid that was) please could somebody tell me a good one to get.
Anyway fitted that.

Went to car wash, came out of carwash wipers working fine.

Get home, thought i would adjust the jets front and rear, had both jets out of the bonnet, and tried to get them to hit the windscreen, still well of bit a bit better.

Now this may be a pure fluke, but now i cant turn the bloody wipers off (front and rear),
i have had to take the fuse out.

any ideas?

cheers

Bald.

Yup, new stalk required, they're not cheap - I think about £90

OMFG, thats all i need.

just a recap, i did notice sometimes when i turned the ignition off then on again
they remained stable, then the back would come on for no reason.

Could there be a short somewhere, water got in somewhere, or is it all controlled by the stalk?

Anyway of testing, or seeking out relays etc?

Dont really want to fork out £90 and its not that.

Not saying you are wrong, but you know what i mean.

cheers.

Guys, gona have to bump this one up

can somebody please explain how the relay works,
or how i check its working,
still got the problem the wipers going mental,
then on the odd occasion the relay will click and they will park correctly.
but the rear just keeps going and going.
Is there a relay for the rear as well
I have checked for water on the ecu in the scuttle, all seems okay

please please help

i have the same problem, usually happens after i wash the car but i also get the hazzard lights going as well and wont turn off, so its quite funny wen im driving down the road on a nice sunny day with my wipers all going and the hazzard lights as well. lol.
i was told it was probably a relay?

Cheers for that mate, i will have a bash at the relays.

Now for another update

When the front wipers have parked themself, the rear decides to go on constant.
then i disconnect the rear wipers then the fecking front start to go on constant,

this is doing my head in now

Please Please Please, somebody shed some light on this.
