ATA Confirm

Daft question but on my FL MFD Convenience options i have a box that says ATA Confirm, it sits beneath the window close box that i know doesnt work but the box is still there, is it to do with the alarm?

I dont have that option.....

you only get this option when its enabled via VCDS - then it appears on the MFD so you can turn it on/off from the stalks.

My 2007 pre face lift cupra has this on the MFD? Does this mean the previous owner must of enabled it using vag com?

To turn the beep on do I select 'ATA Confirm ON' ?

EDIT: just went out to the car and tried doing the above but still no locking/unlocking beep

Yes, or the dealer/specialist could have done it.

hmmm.. strange, go to a seat garage and blag them saying its just stopped working and show them the box they may fix it for free

My 07 fr always had ata confirm in the menu and didn't make any difference on or off.
Then I enabled it through vagcom and it now controls if it beeps or not.

I ordered one of the cables from China.
Cost £18 delivered and done it myself.
The cable is shown on the forum under vagcom

sorry Im just going by my FL Octavia, its got maxidot and has the option, when ticked it chirps, when not its silent.
