lol suit youself, aslong as you are aware that there are more necessary things than the turbo kit...ok its an R so you already got some brembos...but how about suspension? full exhaust, etc

too many new members join up, splash the cash and try to rush it and usually get problems..but if you are going to get it all done asap, just dont overlook anything

sorry to sort of hijack your thread with a question of my own but its on topic...

Matt..quite interested to hear about your exhaust, as with many other people who have gone k03s and gone with 3" piping and whether you think had you gone for a bigger bore, you'd have more power maybe?

too me anything over 2.75" on k03 or k03s is overkill and hardly necessary but o the eliminator is it worth it

Well Thank You for the advice and understand your point totally.

I haven't overlooked anything and i, myself know that there is alot of other components needed other than a "Turbo Kit". I was only asking advice on a company and their product.

Who said i was rushing anything? I'd just like to start ordering bits A.S.A.P as it would give me less time to spend it on other things.....

Thanks Again.

3" would still be overkill IMO unless your running over 350 BHP where the airspeeds could start getting silly!

The turbo kit was £ 999 from star performance.

The S3 Injectors are 380 cc @ 3 Bar / 440cc @ 4 Bar

As for the mapping it took Jim about 2-3 hours, he is a very helpfu bloke.

As for the exhaust, mine is running a 2.5 inch downpipe ( miltek ) with a 2.25 inch powerflow exhaust. It runs and sounds great. I dont think 3 inch would be of much benefit. Robdons is running 3 inch downpipe and bigger exhaust than mine and his is producing the same power and a little more torque, but this could be due to weather conditions, exhuast or the leons more advanced VVT.

Who knows.

It's a k04-023 hybrid with port/polished and ceramic coated exhuast housing! Was going to get the GTRS but then i heard about all the fitting issues with the RHDs :(

Abit p!ssed off really cos the hybrid was only around $300 cheaper than the gtrs kit!
