Audi A3 SatNav centre console?

Bit of a resurrection here, but has anyone looked at swapping out a single-DIN A3 centre console for the single-DIN Leon console?

Looking at this picture here:

The centre console itself looks very similar to the leon centre console.

Piano black with the nicer buttons/cup holder at the top would update the interior nicely.

Look very similar to me, thinking about swapping mine out. Would need the A3 buttons as well though.

different climate control units thou between the audis and the leon, unless the audi one plugs in

Yeh true, but even if it doesn't, the Leon one isn't that bad - its the buttons at the top of the dash which look dated. The actual recess looks a similar size.
