Audi A4 fault codes

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction, The car is my in-laws Audi A4 2.0e automatic, for a couple of months the car has been playing up with a misfire and loss of power, i've scanned it several times and unfortunatly hadnt logged any fault codes until today when it logged 4!!

Codes are
16684 p0300 randon multiple cylinder misfire detected

16685 p0301 cylinder 1 misfire
16686 p0302 cylinder 2 misfire
16688 p0304 cylinder 4 misfire

I've ahad a look on the rosstech website at these codes but could mean a whole host of things and hoped that someone could give me a few pointers, I thought about it being the coil packs but for 3 of them to go all at once seems a bit odd? Does anyone know if the coil packs from a TT 1.8T would fit for testing purposes as we have access to one?

Good news, rang Audi today and turns out that there is an outstanding recall for the coil packs so it's going in tomorrow for it doing, whoopee
