Cheers guys, yeah idnan love these 1.8ts. And to graham yeah quattro model only reason I bought it mate can handle big power better than fwd, hopefully the engine should fire into to life by weekend just head sent off to get the valve stem seals changed, fingers crossed everything goes well. Finally in regards to water pump I used this before had no issues so will have to wait and see it certainly better than the plastic crap taken out the car which last 65k miles

had a call from rick yesterday about the state of my cylinder head and my fears where confirmed the valves stem seals were shagged causing oil to seap into the cylinders so i guess we caught it just in time and quite a bit of carbon build up on the valves and springs where mucky so all stripped ready to be acid dipped and clean
will have more or less a brand new BAM cylinder when done.

Major update engine fully rebuilt and now back on road running it at actuator pressure for the first 1000 miles , will change the oil after 100 miles and then change it again after another 200 miles . went to pic the car up today from bristol and was excellent no issues car is so smooth its ridiculous , will upload some photos shortly
